■ Research Overview
My research is related to architecture and water. Water is a major factor in reducing the durability of buildings, and water-related problems such as water leakage continue to occur. In addition, as weather conditions become more severe, the number of cases of damage such as flooding and shattered roofs is on the increase. We are conducting research on rooftop waterproofing, exterior wall waterproofing, rainwaterproofing, and water absorption/drying characteristics and durability of materials in order to reduce these problems and make it easier to restore buildings to their original state.
