■ 研究概要

物質中には多数の電子が存在するが，これらの電子は単純に電気を生み出すだけでなく，互いに強い相互作用を及ぼしあうことで，超伝導，磁性，強誘電といった様々な量子現象を引き起こす。このように強い相互作用を及ぼしあう多数の電子の状態は，強相関電子系と呼ばれている。本研究では未解明とされている強相関電子系の量子現象の機構解明を目指しており，モンテカルロ法などの大規模数値シミュレーション法を用いた理論解析を行っている。

超伝導，磁性，強誘電現象など，物質内で強いクーロン相互作用を及ぼし合う多数の電子の系（強相関電子系）で発現する，微視的な物理現象の機構解明・応用を目指した理論研究。

現在の主な研究テーマ：

・銅酸化物高温超伝導体における超伝導発現機構に関する研究
・κ型BEDT-TTF塩における超伝導－絶縁体転移と磁気秩序についての研究
・電荷秩序型強誘電体における電荷フラストレーションを起源とした新しい機構の強誘電状態についての研究
・励起子絶縁体の起源についての研究
