埋蔵文化財や地下埋設管を探査する「電磁誘導型音源と振幅相関合成処理を併用した地中埋設物の三次元映像化」、ロボットや自動車の周囲環境認識のための「感度補正型送信信号とパルス圧縮法を併用した空中物体の距離測定」、建造物評価の一環としての「多重反射弾性波の線形予測処理によるコンクリート強度の非破壊評価」及び「時間反転波を用いた水中無線通信」など、超音波計測応用の研究を行っている。
