概要 | The maximum momentary input energy is evaluated for ductile reinforced concrete (RC) structures from the total input energy and the distribution of the group delay time. The relation between the yield strength of a ductile RC structure per unit mass and peak displacement for a constant ductility ratio is then estimated according to the predicted maximum momentary input energy.
Results show that the maximum momentary input energy of a ductile RC structure can be predicted from the total input energy of the elastic SDOF model and the distribution of the group delay time using the proposed relationship. The relation between the yield strength of the ductile RC structure per unit mass and peak displacement for a constant ductility ratio is also well estimated. |
