概要	This paper discusses the seismic response of damage tolerant structure with plan irregularity based on energy response concept. In this paper, the reduction factor of seismic performance due to plan irregularity is defined as the ratio of energy absorbtion capacity of structure with plan irregularity and that of structure with regular plan. Based on the energy response concept, a simplified equation of the reduction factor is proposed and its applicability is discussed.
