概要 | Nuclear shell-model calculations are carried out for isobaric nuclei with masses 76 and 82. Energy spectra and electromagnetic transition rates are compared with the experimental data. Using the wavefunctions thus obtained, nuclear matrix elements for the neutrinoless double beta decay are estimated. In order to investigate the model dependence on the nuclear matrix elements, pair-truncated shell-model calculations are also performed. By comparing the results with those in other models, the nuclear matrix elements are found to be sensitive to the ground-state correlations. In particular, nuclear matrix elements have strong correlations with pairing gaps. |
