概要	Asymmetric synthesis was performed by combining a photochemical reaction of an achiral substrate followed by crystallization-induced deracemization. A fused indoline produced by the photochemical intramolecular δ-hydrogen abstraction and cyclization reaction of N-(5-chloro-2-methylphenyl)phthalimide crystallized as a racemic conglomerate, and crystallization-induced deracemization by Viedma ripening was performed with an excellent enantioselectivity of 99 % ee. This is the first example of asymmetric expression and amplification by a photochemical hydrogen abstraction reaction and crystallization-induced deracemization.
