概要 | Possible coexistent phase of kaon condensation and hyperons [the (Y+K) phase] in highly dense matter is investigated on the basis of the effective chiral Lagrangian, where the nonlinear kaon field couples with baryons through contact interaction vertices, combined with the relativistic mean-field (RMF) theory. The universal three-body repulsive force, which is constructed by the string-junction model, is introduced in order to make the equation of state (EOS) including the (Y+K) phase stiff enough to be consistent with recent observations of massive neutron stars. The resulting stiff EOS implies that the (Y+K) phase appears only for neutron stars near the maximum mass. |
