概要	This work is a folding tent using thinned bamboos. The new metal joint that can set up a tent by just paring one type of metal fitting with a general-purpose screw has been designed making it possible to simplify the production as well as assembling methods. The purposes were for further popularization; to facilitate the cultivation of human resources through workshop; for utilization of bamboo forest resources; and to respond to the voice of the many people who want to use it. During trial manufacture, rapid prototyping by 3D printer and functional verification using aluminum cutting artefact were carried out, and it was produced through strength analysis by simulation and by lost wax casting. Since the experimental use in the Market was able to obtain sufficient functional verification, it is now possible to proceed with the establishment of mass production system to reduce the cost toward further popularization.
