| 概要 | Multi-strangeness system consisting of K^- mesons and baryon is investigated in a unified way for both nuclei and neutron-star matter, based on the relativistic mean-field theory for baryon-baryon interaction, coupled with the effective chiral Lagrangian incorporating K^- baryon and nonlinear K^-K^- interactions.
It is shown that the ground state of the multi-strangeness nuclei is given by multi-hypernuclei without bound K^- mesons for moderate K^- optical potential depths. In neutron-star matter, coexistence of kaon condensation and hyperons is plausible, but leads to significant softening of the equation of state, which should be reconciled with recent neutron-star observations. |
